Hi Everybody,
HAPPIEST COUNTRIES- Every so often countries are ranked on different issues, like most environmentally sound, happiest, healthiest, and so on. These rankings are re-done about once per year. Recently, the happiest places in the world were re-ranked, and they were pretty much the same as last year. Here are the top 5.
5. Canada
4. Netherlands
3. Norway
2. Finland
1. Denmark
KID DROP-OFF CENTER- In 2008, Nebraska decriminalized child abandonment in order to decrease the rates of infanticide. Basically, parents in Nebraska who felt unprepared to care for their babies could drop them off at designated safe havens with no fear of arrest or prosecution. Within weeks of the change in the law, parents began dropping off their children.
Here’s the problem – the law was aimed only at infants born to parents who lived in Nebraska. Instead, kids of all ages were being dropped off, and people were driving thousands of miles from other states to get rid of their kids. More than half the kids were over 12, and many parents were dropping off their entire family. Lawmakers have since scrambled to correct the law, allowing only infants born to Nebraskan parents to be dropped off.
ALTERNATIVE GLOBAL WARMING THEORY- Ever since global warming became a political debate it has become a very hot topic. Regardless of your stance, a new, very interesting theory has emerged.
It turns out that our government agencies as well as those of other nations have been tampering with cloud formation for years. In order to increase rainfall, agencies are dispersing Silver Iodide into our atmosphere. This practice is called “cloud seeding”, and the practice started back in the 1940’s. It seems to increase water production in the area by 10-15%.
Since the 40’s, the practice has become increasingly common, to the point that every state is now doing it before every single rain or snow storm. And the practice has spread around the globe. When only one or two areas were doing it, it was not as big of a deal. But now everybody is doing it, trying to fight over the limited amount of water in our atmosphere.
The increased cloud cover from these chemicals in our atmosphere cause an “igloo effect”, not letting heat escape from the earth, which warms it up. In addition, cloud seeding chemicals seem to cause jet aircraft exhaust to form very persistent tracks in the sky that have a hard time dissipating. These also trap heat inside our atmosphere.
In many places now, incendiary flares made of strontium, aluminum and magnesium are sent into the atmosphere to dissperse the silver iodide, creating even more chemical loads in our atmosphere.
Hope this helps,
Dr Matt and Dr Robin
