Hi Everybody,
It is absolutely amazing how far we have come with technology in the last couple of decades. When we were in Chiropractic school, pagers (beepers) had just been invented, and cell phones were the size of a brick. Now we have cell phones that fit in your pocket and tablet computers that weigh next to nothing, and who knows what will be next – and it all keeps getting better and faster.
ACUPUNCTURE CHANNELS GRAPHED- In the past, figuring out which acupuncture points to use was a matter of trial and error, and experience. However, a company named Miridia has recently been able to create an acupuncture scanning device that can measure the amount of current in each acupuncture point and channel.
From this information, channels that are over or under-active can be measured, and the points needed to fix the problem spelled out. Additionally, imbalances in Yin (healing) Energy and Yang (active) Energy can be detected. It can even tell which vertebrae need to be aligned and which foods and herbs you need to be eating and taking.
This new technology is to Acupuncture what X-Rays are to broken bones. It is a tremendous step forward in being able to balance the body, and bring it closer to good health.
We are excited to announce that this technology will be available in our office very soon!
Hope this helps,
Dr Matt and Dr Robin

This week’s bit of Useless Information: When Joan Crawford died, her long time rival, Bette Davis, said “You should never say bad things about the dead, you should only say good. Joan Crawford is dead. Good.”
